Beginner Classic Lash Course 4th & 5th May 2024
Completing our classic lash course will be the first step in your new career as a Lash Artist. Classic lash application, also known as the 1:1 method, is where one single synthetic lash is placed onto one natural lash. The course is ran over 2 consecutive days from 10-3pm in Dun Laoghaire, County Dublin.
You do not need to have previous training in Lash Extensions to complete this course.
The total cost of this course is €495.
A deposit of €195 is required to secure your place, and the remaining €300 is due on the first day of the course.
What will I learn?
Over the course of the two days, we focus on the theory and safe application of classic lash extensions.
DAY 1:
Characteristics of Classic Lash Extensions.
Lash growth cycle.
Lash shedding.
Contra-indications and how to respond.
Contra-actions and how to avoid.
Hygiene and cleaning of tools.
Patch testing.
The science behind the adhesive and optimum retention.
Lash curls, thicknesses and lengths.
How to lash map accordingly.
How to hold the tweezers correctly.
How to isolate the natural lashes.
How to place the extension onto the natural lash.
Mannequin work for the afternoon to mimic a model.
DAY 2:
More mannequin work!
How to refill a set of lashes.
How to do the 'banana peel' method.
How to remove a full set.
How to carry out a consultation with a client.
How to attract your dream clients.
How to promote and price your service.
Insurance advise.
Social media.
4 hour model session in the afternoon (model to be sourced by the student and is required at 12.30pm), under the supervision of our master trainer, Shona.
What is included in the kit?
The kit is worth over €150, and will last you up to 30 treatments (meaning a profit of up to €750 for you while using this kit).

- Strip lashes for practicing on mannequin head.

- Glue rings
- Microapplicator wands
Tea, coffee and sandwiches are provided for students on the day of the course.
Each student is required to complete five case studies after the course in order to receive their certificate of qualification. Each case study must be completed on a model, in addition to answering some questions. The purpose of the case studies is so that Shona can continue to educate all students remotely, motivate them and troubleshoot any potential problems.
